Welcome to the Dalmatian Station!

Here is my website where I document my growing collection of dalmatian memorabilia. Currently, my collection has 150 items in it. My collection first stemmed from a small collection of 101 Dalmatians plushes and Webkinz dalmatians, beginning an unintentional pack of dals that stood out amongst my other plushes with their striking white fur. I started picking up dalmatians whenever I saw them to add into my pack, and eventually I just started to read about dalmatians and decided they're actually the coolest dog ever and that I needed about a million of them.

Dalmatians originate from Croatia, specfically from an area once known as Dalmatia. Dalmatians were breed as hunting dogs and famously get along very well with horses. They were popolarized as carriage dogs, meaning they accompined their charges along the streets, running alongside their equine companions. Their distinct spotted coats were favored amongst the wealthy, espesically in the US and UK. Since they were so good with horses, they were often employed by firestations that used the dogs to protect the horses that once pulled the firebarrage. Since these horses were high-value, they could be unhooked from the carriage and stolen while the firemen were distracted; dalmatians were the ideal breed since not only could they keep up with the horses, but they were defensive and protective of them from potentional thieves. Dalmatians remain the mascot of many firestations to this day, even after the horse-drawn carriages were retired. Dalmatians, most importantly, are silly little guys. The dalmatians I've met in real life were energetic, friendly, and intelligence; the ultimate edition to this collection will one day be a real dalmatian (although that wld kinda be a horror movie scenario to enter a new home and find it full of replicas of yourself). For now please feast your eyes upon the gorgeous beasts of my abode. Enjoy!

BA-01-23: Biggo

8" plush dalmatian in laying position with oversized head and nose, droopy eyelids, and red pleather collar with silver buckle, "The Dog" button on right haunch. Small body and ears. Produced by Artlist International, a line released after the success of "The Dog" artlist collection in Japan, which featured photos of dogs shot with a fisheye lense. There are 4 different sizes of The Dog, from 4" to 14" (I have 8") and a McDonalds toy line as well. Theres also calenders, books, and even a Nintendo game based off of this photography series. Aiden got me the silliest dalmatians ebay could find for my 21st birthday. Related: Biggy (currently unlinked)

Acquired: 7/18/23, gift from Aiden, ebay | Price: $18 | Producer: Artlist International | Production Date: 2002-2003 | Missing Info: materials, advertisement, poster (I had it but the page i linked to was deleted)

BC-03-23: Biggy

8" plush dalmatian in laying position with an oversized head and small body. Plastic brown eyes and large rubbery nose, embroidered toes, spots are all in neat lines, black right ear. Wearing a large Christmas hat with green and red checker design. Yellow button on right haunch with "BIG" logo. Produced by Commonwealth Toys in 2003, a knock-off of the popular "The Dog" series that was trendy at the time (2002-2003), plushes of dogs based off of photos from fish-eye lenses. Commonwealth toys briefly had the "Head First" or "BIG Head First" line that seems to have only produced a few different dog breeds. Mine has a hat. Not sure whats up with that; I didn't find any other adorned "Head First" dogs. Possibly a 'seasonal' line that didn't pick up, considering that 'Head First' only lasted a year. Aiden got me Biggy, Biggo, and Flash for my 21st birthday.

Acquired: 7/18/23, gift from Aiden, ebay | Price: $10-12 | Producer: Commonwealth Toys | Production Date: 2003 | Missing Info: Seasonal line. I must find out if there are other dogs with hats

BZ-01-23: Bingo

12" round dalmatian plush with embroidered facial features, sparkly eyes with eyelashes, one black and one white ear with sparkly pink insides. "Coco Squishies: Bingo the Dalmatian" is the official product name, produced by Zuru. Coco Squishies are just a circular verison of Squishmallows, this particular product was released in July 2020, around the height of Squishmallow's popularity. Squishmallow copies are an easy cashgrab because the symbilistic nature of Squishmallow designs are easy and cheap to pull off and produce. 'Coco Squishies' in particular are marketed to young girls and are given additional 'girly' features like eyelashes, sparkles, and more cutesy expressions (smiling like :P).

Brooke gave her to me during the First Watch Christmas party. She told me she had to hide it from her son, Elliot, since he would try to take her. Luckily Bingo made it to me safely. and without any crayon stains.

Acquired: 12/20/2023 | Price: $11 | Producer: Zuru, Coco Squishies | Production Date: 6/30/2020-current | Missing Info: advertisement / og page are still up, i want to get a screenshot and product description when i remember.

BD-01-23: Bank

7" plastic Disney dalmatian coin bank. Unspecificed puppy in a sitting poisition with fur texture, panting, red collar with brown eyes and black ears. Missing coin stopper. It's pretty unlikely that it's based off of a certain puppy: if it isn't one of the handful of popular pups then it's no one. Produced by Applause somewhere between 1968-1990; Applause was, at the time, the main producer of Disney's toy and plush lines, and I can only narrow this pup down to somewhere between the release of the original 101 Dalmatians and the release of the live-action 101 Dalmatians, in which there was an uptick of 101 Dalmatians merch released by Disney.

I found BD-01-23 at an antique store in South Carolina. There was also a collection of decorative dalmatian plates that I was certain I would destroy on the 23hr bus ride back home. BD-01-23 was in good condition for a plastic figure that could be 30-40 years old; he had some chips in paint and some yellowing; I repainted the black spots but as of right now I don't know how to fix the yellowing. I washed him off when I first got him which didn't have an effect, but I'm sure there's some kind of product designed for old dalmatian coinbanks specfically. Also he's a boy because his collar is red. AMAC. Assigned Male at Collar. which happens to a lot of boys. Some listings call it "Lucky" due to the two black ears but he doesn't have the horseshoe marking on the back.

Acquired: August 2023, Antique Store, SC | Price: $10-20 (I forgot) | Producer: Applause, Disney | Production Date: 1986-1990 | Missing Info: exact production date, cleaning materials

BT-01-23: Beau

6" beanie boos plush dalmatian, white with pink heart-shaped spots and right eye spot, glittery pink plastic nose and eyes, embroidered mouth. Beau is a Valentines seasonal Beanie Boo. His birthday is Feburary 10th, and his poem is as follows: "I'll hold my breath 'til I turn blue / Until I get to go with you / I'll tell you a big secret too / About something you never knew." There is lots of informatin on Beanie Boos and Beanie Babies which makes sourcing beaniematians incredibly easy.

Acquired: Feb 2023 (forgot), Randals | Price: $6 | Producer: TY | Production Date: Feb 2023 | Missing Info: product description, releaese photos

BF-01-24: Kevin

3” die-cast plastic Dalmatian figure in a standing position with a red collar, measuring 4” across, from nose to tail. Kevin came in a “My Best Friends” set of three produced by New-Ray Toys, with BF-02-24 and BF-03-24. His mold is fairly simple aside from a few unnecessary but appreciated details, such a weenie, so I know he’s a boy. He’s named after my friend Kevin, who I met at a furry con, the same weekend that I purchased this set.

I really like this figure even though it isn’t the most high quality. This detour of New-Ray from cars to puppy-dogs seems to be a throw-away attempt to diversify their portfolio but it appreciated by me nonetheless. Kevin is fairly up to breed standards, not a blue ribbon winner, but would be considered a handsome Dal theoretically, but sadly he’s disqualified as not meeting the height regulations; his withers aren’t even close to 19-23 inches. Additional details include musculature that, to me, signifies that he is a working dog or at least is owned by someone with a bike and a walky-dog. Good for him!

His spotting would earn him quite a few points. His spots are distinct, defined, and don’t overlap with each other; he’s rather light on spots, and lacks any spotting on his lower legs and paws; I thought this was sad ‘cus spotty paws are so cute. He sports a rather mopey expression, although he does have the signature furrow and a sharp stop of the muzzle. I wonder how intentional these high-scoring breed standards are; I didn’t pay much attention to the other dogs in the line, so it’s possible that this line was intended to feature show-level dogs. Something to look into later, I wouldn’t mind finding the rest of the sets. What’s under a blue ribbon? I give him that.

Acquired: August 16th, 2024 2021, Buc-ees | Price: $9.99 | Producer: My Best Friend, New-Ray Toys | Production Date: 2019-current | Additional Info: New-Ray Toys "My Best Friends" | Friends: BF-02-24, BF-03-24

BF-02-24: Mattie

1 ½” die-cast Dalmatian puppy in a sitting position, measuring only 1” across. She is a little girl for sure, but probably not the runt of the litter. Her gender is deduced by her lack of genitalia, which is present on her fellow set-mate and her father, Kevin. I am a huge fan of small dalmatian figures: she is literally like an inch tall; an ant would consider her a minor obstacle. I imagine she weighs an ounce at most.

I find her somewhat lacking on the spottage. Although it’s true that Dalmatian puppies are born without spots, she is definitely past the age of developing them; she only has twenty spots in total! I’m considering giving her a few extra with the help of a sharpie, solely because I feel like that’s barely any at all -HOWEVER, her spots are lovely. Very clear, round, but not cartoonishly so; they cluster somewhat realistically, with little galaxies of three spots and then the occasional wild one. I really enjoy this one spot she has on her paw. Dalmatian paw spots are a necessity to me, in the realm of food and water. Her little paws are defined with toes and toenails, a funny detail to add when she’s lacking in organs. Makes you think, doesn’t it?

Mattie is named after my friend Mattie, who I met at fur-con the same weekend that I purchased her. I got her at her packmates at Buc-ees when we stopped for snackies during a 4-hour drive.

Acquired: August 16th, 2024 2021, Buc-ees | Price: $9.99 | Producer: My Best Friend, New-Ray Toys | Production Date: Jan 7th, 2019-current | Additional Info: New-Ray Toys "My Best Friends"| Friends: BF-01-24, BF-03-24

BF-03-24: Val

1” Plastic figure of a dalmatian puppy in a standing position with tail raised. She has a playful energy about her, with her legs slightly out in front of her and hindlegs firmly planted under her, as though she’s just about to leap into a playbow. Her tail flagging up behind her gives her a very confident and friendly vibe, a very very small bundle of energy. I love her and all the ideas I’ve projected onto her.

I appreciate this sets attention to detail, as Val embodies some of the traits that she’ll eventually be showing off to judges, although her growing in going rather slowly. She has a slight furrow between the eyebrows (realistically, this is where the two sides of the die-cast mold met, but I like to think that it was intentional) and a sharp stop to her muzzle, her ears are set back well enough, and she has a nice, straight top line. Like her father, her tail may lose her a few points, but she’ll gain them back in the beauty of her spotting patterns. She and her sister have relatively few spots, but where her sister has only 20, she has 33! Some of these are barely freckles, including an adorable one on the palm of her hindpaw.

I got her from Buc-ees while driving to a fur-con, and named her after a friend I made there. Sadly, the real life Val is actually a guy -but I had already cemented the logic of sexing the dogs before I decided to name them after my con friends. Sorry, Val, but you must admit that this is a very cute puppy.

Acquired: August 16th, 2024 2021, Buc-ees | Price: $9.99 | Producer: My Best Friend | Production Date: 2019-current| Additional Info: New-Ray Toys "My Best Friends" | Friends: BF-01-24 BF-02-24

CH-01-23: Cheer

16" dalmatian plush in laying position with a red satin bow on back of neck. Black tail and ears, embroidered mouth, brown eyes, and whiskerspots. Produced by HugFun for a seasonal winter line that featured some other dog breeds along with dalmatians.

Acquired: December 2023, Randalls | Price: $15 | Producer: Hugfun | Production Date: 2023 | Missing Info: Hugfun info, materials, line

CC-01-23: Cuddles

6" plush dalmatian in a laying position, Pound Puppies knock-off. Cartoony plastic eyes and nose, legs splayed out with a tube-shaped body. Spots are airbrush with a bleed around them. Pound Puppies were popular in the 1990s and spawned lots of knock-offs: Cuddle Puppies were probably released around the same time but I don't actually have a source for any of this. I purchased CC-01-23 in a group with a bunch of licensed Disneymatian products: I have yet to find an individual listing for a Cuddle Puppy anywhere, so I don't really have any information about them or their price or release date or anything. Honestly, looks fairly close to a Pound Puddle and isn't bad quality aside from the poor airbrushing. Def could trick someone who doesn't know much about Pound Puppies.

Acquired: 4/30/23, ebay | Price: probably like $5 on its own but I purchased them in a group for $150 | Producer: Cuddle Puppy, parent company unknown | Production Date: circa 1990s, probably | Missing Info: materials, parent company, production date, line, everything.

CR-01-20: Conductor

Little Tikes Rescue Tales Adoptable Pets -Dalmatian: "9 interactive plush dalmatian. Large blue eyes with a wipeable tear, fur on top of head, braided blue collar with a star-shaped tag, "RT" logo on haunch. When activated, it wags tail, shakes head, pants, licks, and barks. Touch and time activiated. Conductor is apart of a rebrand of a defunct toy line called Rescue Pets, rebranded now as Rescue Tales. Rescue Pets, released in the 2000s, was a competitor to Webkinz; they featured pets with scannable codes that unlocked an online avatar on the Rescue Pets website. The website was basically webkinz, with an arcade, room decor, and pet clothing. The franchise didn't last long and was discontiuned. Rescue Tales was then revived in 2020, instead focusing on an "interactive" element with touch-activated responses from the pet, as well as accessories for the pet, sold seperately. Pets come in a doghouse-shaped box and are marketed to young children, encouraging them to rescue the pet from the animal shelter. It works. I rescued him.

Me and Tegan got Conductor at Target when I was first starting to actively collect dalmatians. We didn't know that Rescue Pets/Tales were back, since we played it when we were younger so it was really cute and exciting to regonize their distinct devastated expression. I remember that we couldn't turn him off until we got home and he is VERY motion sensitive and spent the entire shopping trip barking and whining inside its box. Ocelot ended up naming him because we were watching a documentery about trains while he sat on our desk. MORE INFORMATION: https://fluppypuppy333.neocities.org/rescuepetsK

Acquired: 7/28/20 | Price: $23.88 | Producer: Little Tikes, Rescue Tales | Production Date: 2020 | Missing Info: Product description, advertisement

CW-01-20: Cherrybomb

11" Webkinz pink dalmatian. Slightly larger then the dalmatian, pink ears and spots, black plastic eyes, embroidered pink nose, Webkinz 'W' on right hind paw. Three spots on her face. She was one of the originals of the dalmatian collection; Tegan originally owned her but gave her to me to put on the dalmatian shelf; we bought a group of webkinz dogs when we were getting back into webkinz in 2020. I am not sure if she intended for me to keep her but she showed up in the moving boxes so she's mine forever now. Sometimes she wears a little jean jacket. Her code is probably on Tegan's webkinz account. I switch between calling her Cherry Soda and Cherrybomb but I think Cherrybomb is gonna be offical. I also can't remember if Tegan got her for me or if I bought her myself but it feels nicer to think that Tegan got her for me. She is in very good condition and stuffed more then the average Kinz.

Acquired: 2020 | Price: $60 in group of ten. Original price was $11. They're listed on ebay between $12-40. | Producer: Webkinz, Ganz | Production Date: May 2012-2015 | Missing Info: i should include her ingame stuff

8" dalmatian plush in sitting position, plastic nose and eyes with brown shading around nose and mouth, airbrushed mouth, whiskers spots, and spots. DB-02-24: Drowzy 🐾

23" realistic Dalmatian plush in a laying position. She has a foam insert in her head and thick stuffing to maintain her pose, front legs extended while haunches are bent in a relaxed position, airbrushed spots with detailed airbrush pawprints and whisker spots, plastic brown eyes. Founded in 1952, Best Made Toys Limited produced various realistic animal plushes w similar patterns, including the dalmatian but also tigers, huskies, lions, horses, German Shepards, and Bermese Mountain Dogs. They all seem to have the same pattern with a foam face, meaning that the animals were likely produced w the same body/pose w unique face molds and tails. Best Made Toys Limited was acquired by the SJ Partners in 2015, an equity firm, that seemingly blew up the company bc now BMTL is nowhere to be seen. They no longer produce stuffed animals and their domain page is for sale. They are no longer listed as partners of SJ. Their page on Amazon only lists a watch-repair kit. Sad. The address on Drowzy's tag is now owned by Stortz Inc, which I thought maybe was Best Toys Limited rebranded, but Stortz was founded in 2004. I found a document about Best, Court File No. Applicant BEST MADE TOYS INT, which was submitted by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, a large accounting firm. The document is not accessible to me for some reason and I bet it has something to do with BMTL's tragic disappearance from Existence.

Drowzy was on Ebay for about a year before I bought her. She was noted as having a large stain on her side, visible in the photo as a light brown. Her sale photos (now lost to time) featured her on a plain table and she looks so sad, dirty, and unloved that I frequently returned to the page to check on her. She was being sold for $60 with $50 shipping which felt like a lot for a damaged dal. But she was literally haunting me. Eventually I was possessed by her soulful sad eyes and I had to rescue her from the shackles of the endless Ebay listing. She arrived in only a few days. Her owner must have washed her before she arrived since the stain is barely noticable. I named her after an altermatian. She's defienetely the largest item in my collection and so she stays in my bed, although I try not to squish her to avoid damaging her. She's fairly study but her neck is prone to warping and her foam skull could possibly be damaged. More research to come on the mysterious Best Made Toys Limited.

Acquired: 1/4/24, Ebay | Price: $110 | Producer: Best Made Toys Limited | Production Date: 2004-2015, unspecificed | Missing Info: exact production date, materials

DT-01-23: Duke

10" plush dalmatian in sitting position with a voicebox that barks "Jingle Bells". 7" Christmas hat and a removable red scarf with green tassles. Velvet nose and plastic brown eyes, black ears and tail. I think it was produced circa 1990s; an Etsy seller listed it as 1990s but I don't rlly have a source. It was produced by Funworld, which produces holiday décor but mostly focuses on halloween and Easter décor. This dog was produced by Easter Unlimited Inc, a division of Funworld. This dog does look old and the inclusion of velvet also gives that impression, since I don't find many modern plushes with velvet noses anymore. But its battery still works. Ofc theres no information on anything. I received him as a gift from Aiden for Christmas 2023.

Acquired: Gift from Aiden | Price: $12-15 | Producer: Toyworld, Easter Unlimited Inc | Production Date: 1990s | Missing Info: Production date, original tag/photo upload

DD-04-23: Dipstick

8" plush Dipstick in a walking position, plastic eyes, nose, red collar with bone-shaped tag with logo and "Dipstick" in yellow. Wagging tail mechanic that no longer works. Could wound someone on impact. I need to factcheck his production, as in the excel I said 1996 but he could be anywhere between 1996 and the early 2000s; I assume that he's from 1996 because that's when a majority of Dipstick merch came from, as 1996 was the year his originating movie was released.

Acquired: 4/30/23 | Price: $12-15, purchased in group for $150 | Producer: Mattel, Disney | Production Date: 1996-? | Missing Info: production date, toy line, how to fix his broken ass

DD-03-23: Dipstick

15" Dipstick plush in laying position. Rough fur, airbrushed spots with signature black ear design, rough velvet nose, embroidered features. Blue color with "Dipstick" in white captial letters. A Mouseketoys product, from somewhere between 1996-2005. Wide range for date: the set of Mouseketoys dalmatians includes Pongo, Perdita, Dipstick, and Lucky (maybe more: haven't seen any others just yet). Dipstick was introduced in the 1996 live action film. I found a listing of Lucky with the original tag that had the Disney Store logo used between 2000-2005. why can't these bitches just have production dates.

Acquired: 4/30/23 | Price: $12-40, purchased $150 in group | Producer: Mouseketoys, Canasas, Disney | Production Date: 1996-2005 | Missing Info: exact production date, any original tags or line mates (Perdita, Pongo, Lucky)

DW-01-23: Donut

11" Webkinz dalmatian with unused Webkinz World code. Plastic eyes, rough nose, black right ear, Webkinz 'W' on hind leg paw. Loose mouth thread. His face is predominantly white aside from three small spots. He is bright white and is currently the newest addition to the webkinz dalmatian line-up. He was an impulse buy because his ebay listing looked so cute. I named him Donut because Aiden gave me a donut the day I got him.

Acquired: 9/27/23 | Price: $13.86 | Producer: Webkinz, Ganz | Production Date: April 2007 - July 2008 | Missing Info: Game avatar, when I eventually upload his code I'll add his photos and room

DD-01-23: Dipper

3" plastic Dipper figure in a running position on top of a bone-shaped base. I couldn't find that much information about this little guy, other then the company that made him makes caketoppers. Red, tagless collar, pink tongue panting, pink inner ears, black ears with embroidered 'domino' pattern, embroidered eyes and eyebrows with velvet nose. Literally cannot find any proof of hise xistance aside from the one I own. Looks very similar to a Mattel Rolly plush but likely weren't released together since Domino is a 102 Dalmatians character while Rolly is 101. FP-01-23: Flash

7" dalmatian beanbag in a posable position (laying down/sitting upright), wearing a red Fire-hat with an orange "FD" badge in yellow. DeTech is/was a producer of things like smoke detectors and heat sensors. The website now redirects to TruWatch.com which does the same thing but also home security. There is also a FaceBook page called Flash the DeTech Fire Dog which is a mascot of a fire station in Japan. Honestly not sure if that's related. Seems like DeTech/TruWatch briefly used Flash as a mascot and commissioned production from Plushland.

Acquired: 7/23/23, late birthday gift from Aiden | Price: $10-20 | Producer: Plushland, DeTech/TrueWatch | Production Date: 2010 (source: picture i have to uplaod) | Missing Info: blank

FH-01-23: Fun-Bun + FH-02-23: Funny Bunny

7.5" plush dalmatian in sitting position with large round head, brown glass eyes, black ears, fabric nose and embroidered mouth. Black ears. Pink gingham bow with soft sparkly white/pink bunny ears. A set of duplicates. I got them at Randals but I picked up one and then decided I preferred the spot pattern of another one, and put the original back. Then I thought about what it would be like to be considered then replaced for seemingly no reason and what if the original one never was bought and was thrown away. So i felt bad and bought both of them. Luckily they were pretty cheap.

Acquired: 4/1/23, Randals | Price: $8, $16 in total | Producer: Hugfun | Production Date: 2023 | Missing Info: blank

LD-05-23: Lucky

12" plush Lucky in a sitting position with rough fur, embroidered eyebrows, plastic eyes, fuzzy black ears, rough black nose, panting mouth w fabric tongue, red collar with "Lucky" in black text, accurate airbrush spotting. No foam, but firm stuffing. I'M A FAILURE….I couldn't find anything about this guy. He looks similar to the Mouseketoy line but much firmer and with a hard nose. His tags are all missing. Lucky could be from any production due to his role in the movie. The fabric used was defienetely more common in the 1960s-2000s but not impossible after that. He's very similar to the 2019 Disney Store Exclusive Lucky -similar pose and measurements but different everything else. I don't THINK he's a mouseketoy. The Mouseketoys had embroidered eyes and he has plastic eyes, which gives it a more 2000ish vibe. Fuck. Mystery dog. Gonna KMS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Acquired: 4/30/23 | Price: $150 in group | Producer: Disney | Production Date: blank | Missing Info: everything!!!!!!!!!!!

LD-04-23: Lucky

LD-03-23: Lucky

12" plush Lucky in sitting position, embroidered eyes and eyebrows, black ears, open mouth with embroidered features, accurate spotting, plain red fabric color. Disney Store logo embroidered in back right foot. The earliest listing I could find of this Lucky was March 8th, 2019 on Amazon. Not 100% that’s the listing date since the page also included different "Styles" that included other plushes like Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse so maybe March 8th is just the date that listing was put up in general, but in 2020 there were 4 eBay listings on this plush.

Acquired: 4/30/23, ebay | Price: $26, bought $150 in group | Producer: Disney | Production Date: Late 2019 | Missing Info: blank

LD-02-23: Lucky

10" Lucky plush in laying position, very soft and floppy. Embroidered eyes and eyebrows, open panting mouth, black ears, faded airbrush spots, plain red fabric color. Disney Store Exclusive logo embroidered left of tail. Reason for dating 2008-2010 this is just because his Disney Store and 101 Dalmatian logo featured on his tag both were released in 2008. The Disney Store logo was only used for two years and replaced it in 2010. All the listings I found on this Lucky have the same tag.

Acquired: 4/30/23, ebay | Price: $15-30, bought $150 in group | Producer: Disney | Production Date: 2008-2010 | Missing Info: blank

OF-01-20: Obby

10" realistic plush dalmatian in sitting position with plastic brown eyes and nose, airbrushed spots, and red collar with a "FAO Schwarz" tag. Mine is wearing a red hat in the shape of a lobster. I named him Obby because at the time I kept having dreams that a voice named Obby was trying to communicate with me, and when I was awake I would sometimes hear a voice that I didn't regonize and so I called it Obby. I ended up naming the dalmatian Obby after the voice, and shortly after that, the voice went away. I'm assuming he went into the dog. Probably.

Acquired: 12/25/20, gift, amazon | Price: $20 | Producer: FAO Schwarz | Production Date: 2020 | Missing Info: blank

OW-01-23: Odalis

RE-01-20: Roscoe

14" Dalmatian plush in laying position, plastic eyes and nose, well stuffed with head raised and airbrushed spots, black left ear. Tegan got him for me from a site called "Loved Before" which takes donations of childhood stuffed animals and cleans, restuffs, and resells them along with notes from their original owners. Roscoe's owner wrote that Roscoe is deaf and knows hand commands. Clearly whoever owned him was well versed in real life dalmatians, which have a higher risk of being deaf than other dog breeds. Couldn't find a source for him. There are four other breeds with the same sewing pattern as him: a German Shepard, a Beagle, Golden Retriever, and an Irish/American Setter. I saw examples of these breeds in a set with a "mother" and "sibling" plush accompanying them, so there might be a dalmatian family set out there as well. But E&J shares the name with an active company that produces alcohol so its hard to find any sources on them. E&J doesn't seem to exist anymore; there is an E&J that produces brandy but they weren't the same company. E&J stuffed animals can go for over $300 on eBay, and while there's a few listings of dalmatians, none of them are the same as Roscoe.

Acquired: 2020, Loved Before | Price: unsure | Producer: E&J | Production Date: Vintage | Missing Info: blank

RD-02-23: Rolly

3" ceramic Rolly figure with red color in a begging position. Listings refer to this as "pre-1968" and it does match the vibe of other ceramic figurines sold at this time so I don't have a source but it seems correct.

Acquired: 12/25/23, gift from Lori, estate sale | Price: $11 alone, $30-60 in set | Producer: Disney | Production Date: between 1961-1968| Missing Info: blank

RM-01-23: Rolly

RD-01-23: Rolly

5" fleece (?) plush Rolly in a sitting position. Plastic eyes, soft rough nose, embroidered eyebrows, blue "Rolly" collar. I couldn't find much information on this guy. There are two other plushes in this set -Lucky and Penny. Most listings call it vintage or 90s, and judging by the Walt Disney store logo it has to be between 1988 and 2000s. I think its around 1991-1995 due to the theatrical release at that time + 1996 was the release of the live-action 101 dalmatians which meant most dalmatian merch had the new logo. Plus, Rolly didn't get much merch after 1991 since he wasn't the most popular speaking pup. But I haven't been able to find an production date.

Acquired: 4/30/23, eBay | Price: $15-30. Purchased $150 in group | Producer: Disney, | Production Date: 1991-2000 | Missing Info: blank

RW-01-08: Roses

11" Webkinz Dalmatian plush with a pink bead collar that says "Roses". Black right ear, rough fabric nose, plastic eyes, and a few loose threads next to her right eye and her mouth. Webkinz 'W' on hind left paw. She's my main on webkinz so I'll have to post her room and her outfits. She is a graduate of the Kinzville Academy because she's talented.

Acquired: 6/28/08, gift. Registered on Webkinz on that date, not sure if thats actually the day I got her. | Price: $11 | Producer: Webkinz, Ganz | Production Date: blank | Missing Info: blank

SB-01-22: Sausage

11" plush dalmatian in sitting position with plastic eyes, panting mouth with pink tongue, velcro opening on bag for stuffing. He has some holes and worn out patches, he's also very bulky and overstuffed. His head is round as hell. He was a birthday gift for Zenith. I cannot remember why we called him Sausage but it probably has something to do with his sausage-esqe body. He was produced by Bears2Go, which makes "custom" stuffed animals; Sausage is a product called Doug the Dalmatian. How custom are they if are just lists of products?

Acquired: 10/13/2022, Goodwill | Price: $3-5, i forgot | Producer: Bears2Go | Production Date: Post 2006 | Missing Info: blank

ST-01-23: Spot

36" plush dalmatian in a laying position. Plastic eyes, soft nose, understuffed and floppy. Wearing a red flower-print collar with bell (put on by me). She is a pillow to me and one of my favorites (don't tell anyone). Seeing her get sold on eBay made me rlly sad cus it looked like she was someones childhood toy and I made a post about it. And then bought her the next day. She was only $4 and she was bigger then I expected (The listing just called her "big" but she looked small in the photo) so she is now my pillow pet.

Acquired: 7/12/23, eBay | Price: $4 | Producer: This & That (note: doesn't seem to exist anymore. I found a "This & That Boutiques" but they don't have the same logo and don't sell any products other then hair products.) | Production Date: blank | Missing Info: blank

SG-01-23: Snowball

16" dalmatian plush in laying position with large red nose, plastic eyes, black ears and tail, embroidered toes in red, red Christmas hat with a bell and green string in the middle, zipper on the bottom for a voicebox that no longer works. I don't have the right screwdriver to change it. sad. Produced by Great Gifts Mckeesports, which I dated around 2000-2004 because Great Gifts McKeesport no longer seems to exist. Only source I could find was a recall for a snowman plush issued in 2004 that listed Great Gifts McKeesports as a seller.

Acquired: 12/25/23, gift from Aiden | Price: $10 | Producer: Great Gifts McKeesport | Production Date: 2000-2004, possibly | Missing Info: blank

SB-01-21: Sunshine

Plush dalmatian in a laying position. Black ears and tail, heart-shaped spots, soft nose, and red pawpads, glass eyes. Got her as a valentines gift for Kat and after we broke up he returned her 2 me. She must've had a tag at some point but ig Kat took it off, I can't remember what brand she is. For a while, she wore a bracelet I made that said "Sunshine" because it had a large charm that was pretty uncomfortable to wear. I eventually removed the charm and broke the bracelet later so maybe should've just let her keep it.

Acquired: 2021, purchased in Feb 2020| Price: $2 | Producer: Walmart | Production Date: 2020 | Missing Info: blank

: Perdita

PD-02-20: Perdita

12" Perdita plush in a laying poisition. Rough fur with embroidered eyes, eyebrows, hard nose, airbrushed spots. Red "Perdita" collar with white, cursive stitching. Tegan also got me the Mouseketoys Pongo a few years prior, so when she found the Perdita of the same set she got me her for Christmas :) As always it is impossible to find dates but I think it's around 1996 because it's produced by mouseketoys, which I also could not find a fucking date for, but was probably released around the 1996 movie and the set included Wizzer, which is a character introduced in the 1996 film. UPDATE: The set actually included Dipstick, not Wizzer. The point still stands but a listing of Lucky (Same set) showed his tag that had the 2000-2005 Disney store logo, and Mouseketoys seems to have been discontiuned sometime around the late 90s/early 2000s which wld allow for "late" releases of the remaining Mouseketoys if true.

Acquired: 12/25/20, gift from Tegan, eBay | Price: $15 | Producer: Disney, Mouseketoys, Canasas | Production Date: 1996-2005 | Missing Info: blank

PD-01-24: Pongo

21" Standing Pongo plush, 16" tall. Detailed, movie-accurate design with thick stuffing, wiring in his legs, detailed embroidered eyes and eyebrows with a nylon blue collar with a yellow "Pongo button", airbrushed spots. He is so beautiful. He stands on his own and has a tummy tuck and black ears and little toe lines and everything. He must have been a collectors edition or smth because he is very high quality and well made. Trudi is an Italian toy making company well known for their detailed stuffed animals. Disney collobrated with them in 1996 to make various stuffed animals that seems to include Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Lady and Tramp, Thumper, and Pongo, Perdita, Patch, and a random dalmatian pup. The line is based off of the animated movie despite the live-action 101 Dalmatians released in the same year. The Patch plush released in this line however seems based off of the live action film as it has the live-action Lucky's facial marking while also having Patch's spot. It might be closer to 1997. The "history" on Trudi's website says that Disney "drew up a licensing agreement" in 1996, and I'm not sure how long it takes to produce stuffed animals. I imagine it was later. Pongo does, however, have the 101 Dalmatians logo present only after the 1996 live action.

Acquired: 1/13/23 | Price: $99 | Producer: Disney, Trudi | Production Date: 1996-1997 possibly | Missing Info: blank

PD-08-23: Pongo

PD-01-15: Pongo

15" Pongo plush in a sitting position. Embroidered eyes and eyebrows, velvety hard nose, black ears, airbrushed spots, open mouth with red inside and pink tongue. Grey collar with "Pongo in white captial letters. Mine is wearing a bead bracelet that says "Pongo". Tegan found him. I remember it because we were leaving Comicpoolizia and walking away and then Tegan suddenly just veered off without saying anything and it took a while to find her and when she came back she had this Pongo. She said she had noticed him in a booth while walking past and wanted to get him for me. I wasn't collecting dalmatians at that point but I did love 101 Dalmatians so much.

. Acquired: 2015, Comicpalooza | Price: $20-30. Purchased for $5 | Producer: Disney, Mouseketoys, Canasas | Production Date: Circa 1996-2005 | Missing Info: blank

PD-02-23 + PD-03-23: Pongo

15" Pongo plush in a sitting position. Lidded plastic eyes, fabric nose, embroidered eyebrows, black ears. Red collar with a plastic loop. Missing tag. The source I found with the original ad said they were sold between "the late 80s and early 90s". The Disney Company logo began use in 1988, and I assume that its pre-1996 release of 101 Dalmatians, since most merch after that point had the new dalmatians logo. I want to find the Disney Catalog that advertised the Perdita's Puppy family but I wld have to do a lot more work and I am lazy rn. Also, Canasa Trading Corp, which produced him, appears to have been last active in 1991 but I cannot confirm that. I had the fucking original advertisement for Pongo but I lost it by god

Acquired: 4/30/23 | Price: $18-30. Purchased for $150 in group | Producer: Disney, Mattel | Production Date: 1986-1995 | Missing Info: blank

PM-03-23: Pongo

16" plush Pongo in a sitting position. Plastic nose and eyes, black ears, sewn-on eyebrows. Marking on left eye. The cover on his muzzle detaches and lifts up, not sure if that's intentional but he has a lil tongue under there. Released in 1991 apart of a promotion for the theatrical release of 101 Dalmatians. He and Perdita were released in a "Parents" set while there was a separate "Babies" and "Puppies" set. He and Perdita were sold separately, with Pongo originally donning a fabric red collar and a cardboard "Pongo" tag but mine is missing that.

Acquired: 4/30/23, eBay | Price: $10-20. Bought in group for $150 | Producer: Disney, Mattel | Production Date: 1991 | Missing Info: blank
